More recognition for Styal

We have received some very pleasant news from the Historic England organisation that Styal War Memorial has been added to the list of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest!

Our memorial is now listed as Grade 2 which means that its interests will be properly considered in managing its future. Special thanks should go to the various people of the village who help keep it up to scratch as a focus for our wish to remember the people from our village who gave their lives so that we may continue to live ours in the pleasant surroundings of Styal.
